📖 Gita - User Guide

Welcome! Here’s how to get the most out of the Gita app. The main controls are located in the header bar at the top of the page.

🧭 Navigation

You can navigate through the Gita's chapters and verses using the controls on the top bar:

  • Chapter & Verse Selection:

    • Use the dropdown menus for "Chapter" and "Verse" to jump directly to any location.
    • Use the left/right arrow buttons (◀️ / ▶️) next to the dropdowns to move one chapter or verse at a time.
  • Audio Control: Once a chapter is loaded, use the main audio player to play, pause, or scrub through the track.

✨ Key Features

Beyond navigation, the app offers several powerful tools:

  • Audio Narrators: You can switch between the "Meenu" and "Vibhushan" audio tracks using the designated buttons.

  • 🔍 Search: Use the search box (located to the left of the chapter selector) to find words in either Sanskrit or English. Your search results will be displayed for you to review.

  • ℹ️ Statistics: Click the Statistics icon (you can describe the icon here, e.g., 📊 or ℹ️) to see basic information and facts about the Bhagavad Gita.

  • Epithet Popups: As you read, you may notice some words have a dotted underline. These are special epithets (descriptive names or titles). Click on any of these words, and a popup will appear explaining its deeper significance.

⚙️ Settings (The Gear Icon)

Clicking the Gear Icon (⚙️) on the far right of the top bar will open the settings panel. This panel allows you to completely customize the app's appearance.

🎨 Changing Theme Colors

You have 20 theme options to choose from:

  1. Dark Themes: By default, you will see 10 dark color palettes. Simply click any color swatch to instantly apply that theme.
  2. Light Themes: To see the light-mode options, click the toggle switch inside the settings panel. This will reveal 10 light color palettes for you to choose from.

Your choice is automatically saved in your browser, so the site will remember your preference the next time you visit.
